I’ve never been here so “early” before. It’s so quiet in the comment section…

You just know she’s rough with sex from first second on stage

Funny, but a lot of audience-pointing as a crutch.

(Reminds me of Jeff Daniels’s cold open on SNL many years ago.)

She acts exactly like my Uncle Steve.. who will be known as ‘Buff Lara Croft’ from this day forward… I’ll see to that.

I wanted to like her. Stephen gives a platform to underappreciated artists on the come-up, and I have always loved that about his work. That being said, this was uncomfortable to watch on so many levels. As a bawdy, gregarious woman of size, there was a lot to want to love about Caitlin’s stage persona. However, it relied heavily on common gender tropes without a clear satirical divide in the material, and she was unable to pull herself out of base-level crowd work to utilize the size and support of her audience. I hope to see more from her, but this was a tough network TV debut to watch.

Hmm this bit got pretty stale after a few minutes, it’s like, we get your point. Moreover, I would have been more engaged if I actually thought she was beefy-butch-muscular-whatever looking which I didn’t think was actually the case, so her whole point didn’t seem that sincere to me, and more of a putdown of skinny women with a hint of bitterness. That being said, I do like her energy and there were plenty of, if not laugh-out-loud, but chuckle moments.
