Why does Maher protect Netanyahu who is a right wing conservative authoritarian dictator who also happens to be a malignant narcissistic sociopath similar to the idiot running this country.

HAS GOT BILL. But if he keeps donating for good so be it. If only Mr.Cox had not gotten sidetracked by his own glasses. Damn it

Brian Cox is another whining Scottish git. The English gave them a vote on independence and they voted NO. Their complaints about historical injustice came to nought. They didn’t even have the balls to vote YES for independence. They voted with their wallets. Lying hypocrites.

Morons who consider themselves socialists are taking advice from yet another millionaire actor who hires high priced accountants to count his money.
The hypocrisy on the leftist knows absolutely no bounds.

Not one comment yet about Bill failing to mention what I imagine is his favorite Brian Cox film and one I’m sure he and Woody get baked to regularly- Super Troopers.

Brian Cox is full of shit. He frowns upon the “Little England” mentality, then he goes on to spout Scottish nationalist myths; that is, that Scots were disproportinately “cannon fodder”. It’s false. Ofc he loves socialism, he went to drama school and got it all payed by tax money, and even after graduation and before stardom he would be dependant on tax money. European “culture” can’t pay for itself, unlike Hollywood and Broadway.

Scaramuchi or however you spell that is the only one who understands Cox in this episode but what he does with it is come up with how Biden can exploit the situation of working class people for political gain. I used to like Bill Maher and “Real” Time but the illusion is gone. The only thing real in that show is the fact that a bunch of rich elitists are discussing what’s best for everyone else. It’s a snobfest, and they’ll keep on until people tune out. A few decent people like Brian Cox may say a few words but BM and company don’t have a clue what he’s talking about.

The Irish only speak English as a economic necessity. Gaelic is the national language of Ireland. Their traffic signs are in Gaelic first then in English.

I like Brian Cox, but his idea that Scottish regiments were used as “cannon fodder” in WW1 isn’t really supported by any evidence. There might have been a disproportionate number of Scots in the army (perhaps due to poverty), but even the idea that a disproportionate number of Scots were killed has been questioned by a Scottish historian https://www.scotsman.com/arts-and-culture/great-war-worst-scots-troops-myth-1529401

The claim of climatologists that there would be an isothermal troposphere in the absence of “greenhouse” gases contravenes the Second Law of Thermodynamics as it would not be the state of maximum entropy, having more gravitational potential energy per molecule at higher altitudes and yet the same mean molecular kinetic energy and thus unbalanced energy potentials. Thermodynamic equilibrium is reached when there are no remaining unbalanced energy potentials and so the sum of (KE + PE) is homogeneous over altitude. Thus, since PE varies, so does KE, that is the temperature becomes warmer at the base of the troposphere (where PE is least) without any back radiation needed. All surface temperatures on all planets can be correctly explained based on this, so if back radiation could do extra surface warming then we would all cook. Cox..what a cock, a jaundiced political viewpoint, a very selective and tenuous grasp of British history…(Darian scheme, union of the crown’s, Jacobite rebellion etc etc) His beloved Scots did more to promote imperialist Britain than any other! He’s a typical Scot hypocritical blowhard with a chip the size of Culloden on his shoulder! Oh and reference Scottish independence…give the English a vote next time, it’ll be a land slide, we’re sick of throwing money down the Scottish bog with nothing in return but vitriol and spite.
