I live in NC now, but grew up and lived most of my adult life in Mass. If
memory still serves me, Meyers got it all right, except for two words. The
word “dirty” at the end of the Kennedy bit was off. It sounded more like
“duhtty,” which is more Downeast Maine (where I also lived). The other word
was in the “Bro” bit where, for Nissan, he says “Nissawn.” instead of
“Nissahn.” Any feedback from fellow Massholes?

not going to lie whenever there is a movie supposedly set in boston i
always cringe waiting to hear the accents. normally butchered – there
should be a class on Boston and NY accents and how they don’t sound the
    same.

That’s reminds me of this fan-made trailer for SNL skits with Seth Meyers,
it was really fake trailer and it was really funny with Seth. That was
awesome then I know. Like OMG, it was amazing sketch trailer. ?

Reason #1 SNL was so unfunny the last 10 years or so: Seth Myers! This
sketch is brutally unoriginal. Funny or Die did a way better Boston accent
    sketch a while back.

actors can not do American accents well, especially foreign actors.

I would go see this movie. Not enough references to traffic, dunkin donuts,
and needs to have Matt Damon and Conan’s sister star in it.They forgot the
part about how the wardrobe budget went out the window once they realized
they would be dressing everyone in red sox gear from head to toe. Then it
won an Oscar for ‘most authentic wardrobe’… ?

it is aware that the Entire World mocks you, your town, and everything you
    think is important about them.

    Yes, you.
