Ben Stiller pays tribute to his dad, Jerry Stiller, by sharing hilarious and sweet anecdotes, like when he chased down his stolen bike or when Ben called him high on LSD.

What a great interview ! So neat to see Ben and hearing his stories about his Dad and Mom. He was very fortunate to spend his time with them. I remember seeing them on the Mike Douglas talk show. Jimmy I love your home too ! You are funny and your family is adorable ! Bless you !!!!!
ReplyHe was the reason why i watched King Of Queens. Funniest tv dad of all time.
ReplyI know exactly what Ben means about this being a weird time for him. I lost my parents within 5 months of each other in late 05/early 06. When they go, it’s very sobering to feel so incredibly bereft and alone and weird to be without them. There’s no generation ahead of one anymore, and it’s so sad and, well, weird. When one is close to parents, the loss is staggering. He has my deepest sympathy, and I hope being able to watch their performances from countless TV shows over the years brings him and his family comfort.
ReplyJimmy’s fake laugh has really improved during the Trump-virus Lockdown.
Reply❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼
ReplyI was surprised he was still coming on the show but same time I’m glad he did & got to talk about his dad.
ReplyI was always a fan of stiller and meara. They were a scream. Never failed to make me giggle, if not belly laugh
ReplyOn the second last episode of Seinfeld they showed a blooper reel. The scene with Frank and Elaine is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
ReplyI waited on Jerry Stiller in 1987. I was a 23 yr old crappy as hell server and he was so kind. the next night I was out to dinner with my bf and we were seated next to him. he was having a business dinner or something, but leaned over and said “remember me?” and we all had such a nice conversation. this was pre-Seinfeld, but I knew him from his comedy act with his wife. such a kind, kind man.
