ReplyWhen Conan is with Sona, Conan can be close to the real character of him, I think. Late show style comedy is not for him. It requires a host to be nice, likable. Conan is nice and likable in some ways, but his truly comedic genius doesn’t lie in there.
ReplyConan seems to know Intern Evan’s name at the start of the remote, and singles him out as his favorite. But then because the one other intern mentions the name tag, he grabs that every other time he refers to the guy. (When Nick walks into the room, when Sona walks in, etc.) Conan always has these microscopic bits running through his mind, and sometimes they will come fast, one after another. But I love those moments when he grabs hold of the truly insignificant and makes it a running gag. True genius.
Also, to anyone commenting on Sona’s pregnancy weight: You can F*ck right off. Who cares?!
