Filming a show in the forest means dealing with wildlife. Sam has an entire plan to keep her family safe from ticks. Only ticks, though. If a bear comes, they’re screwed.

ReplyNYC’S, HELLO FROM NEW YORK CITY, GOD BLESS YOU SAM.
ReplyI’m really sympathetic. Although it’s (mild) winter here in northern Australia, the ticks are bad now. There’s no disease, but they are only 1 mm across this time of year, and if you miss them you get a large angry, itchy lump.
ReplyWow 😃 This is so true😂
ReplyHow lucky to have a forest at your disposal, sorry about the ticks.
Reply“Run boy, run!” LOL
ReplyOh my god. I had a tick — three or four centimeters north of The bus

ReplyTicks or freckle? The eternal struggle
ReplyAh yes, ticks. Long time since I’ve had to tweeze one out of my skin. Use Irish Spring soap before going out to help keep ticks away. Lived “in the country” as a teen and our neighbors gave us the tip.
ReplySw PA, & they’re everywhere.

ReplyI had to do that at college once. They asked what was wrong and I took out a ziplock with a dead bug.
ReplyI went for a short walk in the mountain next to where I live and always do a tick check..woo hoop!…a new record, over 30😱
ReplyIf you check for ticks you’ll find them!!!… If you don’t check there will be no ticks!… STOP LOOKING FOR TICKS! I’m advising my people to slow down the tick checks. There are none… And they’ll go away in October when it gets cold… A MIRACLE!!!…
… PLEASE STAY SAFE ✌
ReplyI just slip one of those tick prevention pills into my kids’ cheese sticks once every two weeks; I’m an excellent parent.

ReplyYES! In the Ozarks after a walk in the woods I found 100’s of tiny ticks. I started getting ill- then years of roller coaster illness. Tests didn’t show anything. Finally 5 years later I was given 30 days of doxycycline and was cured.
Reply*LISTEN TO HER!* A tick changed my life… almost killed me, and has made me sick daily for over 20 years.
