That concept of ‘Trial by Twitter’ is an old thing…. The court of public opinion will always carry more weight than any trial by jury will.
Once you’re branded, you never escape it, even if you are demonstrably not guilty, or even outright innocent. Someone will always point at you and say ‘remember that guy…’, and it all comes back around again. It just used to be you needed to have connections to get the word out, and ruin someone… a trusted ‘grapevine’… Now any goof with thumbs can do it, and some guy who winks at you when you’re feeling pissy gets ganked, ‘goes viral’, and ends up losing everything, as if he was convicted of rape, and personally sent the pics to the judge.

Unless he’s hot.. then you Instagram that shit while making a duck face, and title it ‘Pullin’ on the parkade, bishes!’

When touching a woman on the waist while posing for a photo without her explicit consent is the same as spiking someone’s drink and raping them, something has gone wrong with society. Nuance is dead.

The hard left aka the ostrich brigade is the liberal version of the neo-nazi alt-right! They will only bring misfortune and wreak havoc on sane educated people’s progressive enterprise. Social Justice Warriors need to be shunned; they are toxic.

I wonder what Rose McGowan’s ex-agent thinks of all this. Oh, she just comitted suicide because she was thrown under the bus because of it. Nevermind.

this was a messy conversation that jumped from one incomplete point to the next…it just sounded dumb at the end which is unfourtunate because it could have been a great topic to cover. they confused legal actions (against Harvey Weinstein) and tabloid bs (aziz ansari)- very different and I don’t think the me too movement placed those two people together- trash “journalism” did. Ansari was quickly defended and Weinstein is still a pig who hasn’t answered for his crimes. they could have talked about why some people are never held accountable and how we can collectively work to make it easier and safer to report REAL harassment. Dude, this was such a missed opportunity, and Maher needs to ease up with the whole “you millenials” bullshit. It’s so horrible to think and be careful before you speak? Maybe if Maher spoke like a “millennial” he would not have dropped the N-word so nonchalantly not too long ago.

Wow, liberals and feminists are finally realizing what us sane people already knew! How exciting! The gender creative brigade aren’t going to like some of the things she mentioned though. Haha

There are differences between the sexs, but we should never legislate based on them.

if this crap continues it will kill off the meetoo movement, it will be discredited and proven dangerous, she is correct, it needs to be combined with due process and no consequences till proven guilty…the accusations should be kept private and only revealed if prove true…or it will die out..people are reasonable and get sick of injustice after a given length of time…

That big line between the 2nd and 3rd wave of Feminism. I support and have faith in the former, and regard the latter as a hostile foreign power. Either way, I wasn’t born to be someone’s gender identity punching bag because spreading the unspoken motto “Men are natural Rapists” makes them feel empowered and “brave”.

Bill, you can’t blame everything on the millennials, this snowflake PC BS started with your generation the baby boomers, it has gotten worse these past 10-15 years because of Internet becoming part of most people’s everyday life, social media and companies actually started listening to these liberal crybaby snowflakes. I’m glad to see more normal Democrats call out the far left on their irrational behavior.

Sweeping generalities! “That’s a lie the sexual revolution sold to women;” that we are the same biologically as men?? Maybe some women are deluded into thinking that but it’s the minority. Bari you wouldn’t be where you are without the sexual revolution. flippant little sound bite you….

Dont know why it’s so hard to believe that there is a large group of citizens that fell like our country was headed to globalism. I am a descendent of Latin America who is very great full to have been born and raised in small town USA. If America was to become an open border?… there would be no more United States of America. My mother had very little education but would find work. She taught amnesty classes on the weekends. I watched Mexican immigrants cry at their graduation. Those are the legal immigrants that are now proud citizens who not only contribute to society but also rep all the benefits being Americans have. Even if it’s only the privilege it is to say I am an American Citizen
