In the second part of his interview, Jon Bertnthal tells Stephen what he observed while riding along on drug raids with members of the Baltimore PD in preparation for his role in the new HBO Max series, “We Own This City.” #Colbert #WeOwnThisCity #JonBernthal

ReplyThis is a joke. ‘Good police’ don’t hold bad police accountable to the same laws that us citizens are thrown into the justice system for.

Replywhy are these good cops we keep hearing about so quiet about bad cops? or fired when not.
ReplyFrank Castle. Russo!
ReplyI’d love to see him in the MCU. We already got Charlie Cox and Vincent D.
The best stories are always the real deal.
ReplyThere are no words for what’s happening. Career school day I was out with a police officer I thought they were invested in helping. Best advice I’ve ever had is lower your expectations.

I thought his walking dead accent was his real accent, lol
ReplyI wonder if he will have the Bmore accent. I also want to see more of Park Heights in the show
ReplyI do like Schrieber as Chief, hes growing on me .. he was great as Leprechaun in American Gods.
ReplyBut Bernthal woulda made a great Master Chief.
Wayne Jenkins and his crew stopped me thinking I bought a.bunch of drugs when I bought was figures , Fucking Jenkins threw my figures on the ground and told me to go the fuck home
ReplyGood approach, really. If his acting teaches people that it’s not about “cops vs. robbers” but “good people (sometimes in uniform) vs. bad people (sometimes in uniform)”, that will do US policing a great favour. Dr. Shaq already did that (Officer Winslow having been one of my childhood heroes), but every reminder counts, too. Same on “The Rookie” (great show, you just know it is because it has now been accused of “having gone woke” so often).
