IT WASN’T A NO KNOCK ENTRY. IT STARTED AS THAT, AND THEN CHANGED TO KNOCK AND ANNOUNCE.
THE POLICE MURDERED A WOMAN AND NOTHING HAPPENED.

Omg… Bill Maher is starting to get redpilled… you can’t put an issue based entirely on lies under a microscope for too long. The truth will eventually be revealed.

Anyone who starts talking about “the system”, has probably just lost the argument. You can see it in this exchange too.

The “If you threaten a cop, they will kill you.” That statement can be proven false dependant on skin tone. Plenty of persons not of color who have directly threatened police officers and the objective is to deescalate the situation. This should be accorded to any citizen regardless of tone. I still will say though that, regardless of skin color, “disrespecting” a police officer seem to be the greatest crime.

What an ass. Analysis of police shootings has shown blacks are the LEAST likely to be shot in similar situations….Data indeed is lost on race baiters like him.
    BTW
With Breanna Taylor: She was NOT asleep in her bed, It was NOT a no knock raid, Police ANNOUNCED themselves… their shouting woke up the neighbours. Police only opened fire when one of them was shot by the boyfriend…. this guy is either lying through his teeth or is an absolute ignoramus.

Coleman Hughes is FAR more credible than bakari sellers. Bill Maher was right to bring Coleman – he’s far more objective, as opposed to the VERY predictable talking points sellers went to.

How many times does the FBI have to say at a Congressional Hearing that the greatest threat to the homeland are these white supremacy and white nationalist groups infiltrating law enforcement, this is a great concern and it needs to be taken seriously? Trump has given them the preverbal green light to act out as they see fit. Another axis of the White Racial Frame of conducting business in the USA. This is covered in Robin DiAngelo’s book White Fragility.

As far as refunding the police, yes police will always be needed, however, cops has been militarized to the point of having Directed Energy Weapons that has the capability to injure or kill American citizens and they do use them, they also use Stingrays or Dirt Boxes regularly to trick any and everyone’s cellphone to connect to it thinking that it is a cell tower. The community that police are assigned to should have input in how the community is served, most of all, Police recruitment must include psychological evaluation s before they hire people, and like most employers check their social media.
FYI, by the way, my last post was meant to say racist, but it changed to fascist automatically because I mistakenly added an “s” to racist.

In ancient Rome soldiers would literally “fall on their swords” to commit suicide, hence the phrase, “Who are you willing to fall on your sword for?” The problem starts with “the thin blue line.” Standing up for a fellow cop regardless of what they’ve done. Next the unions who defend these cops regardless. The cop who is accused of killing George Floyd was hauled in front of Internal Affairs 18 times with 2 disciplinary actions taken against him. He should have lost his job years ago. No one being held accountable for the death of Breonna Taylor is unacceptable on every level. imo this should have been a year every cop should have had a personal “Come to Jesus meeting” with him or herself. The cops I know have spent the year whining in social media about how disrespected they are. Then get a new job.
On another note, the debate between these 2 gentlemen is interesting. Bakari Sellers was born, raised and educated in South Carolina. Coleman Hughes was born raised and educated in New Jersey and NYC. Having grown up in the northeast but lived in 5 states and spent 14 years between North Carolina and South Carolina, even though they’re both African American, their experiences are very different. Love to hear more from both of them.

Reallocate police funding to services that prevent crime and properly respond to non-criminal emergency calls. Police culture is rooted in slavery. Reform will not suffice.

That guy is suspiciously well-versed in incidents with the police involving white people. Basically, we all know of Brianna Taylor, Freddie Gray, George Floyd etc because they’re in the news. It sets alarm bells off when someone says something like “I have a counter example for each of your examples” because they’re all tragedies – why go out of your way to counter example when you agree that the police need reform? Why is it so important to you to try to shut people up when they bring up the more famous and egregious examples of the treatment of black people at the hands of police? Makes me doubt their sincerity.

It’s like the people who say they don’t want money to be spent on third world aid when there are people in their own country who need it. Those people NEVER advocate for money going to the same people they purport to defend. They never advocate for universal healthcare or similar. They just have no interest in seeing anyone other than themselves get any help.
