I believe people are always quick to throw black boys in prison because black boys grow up faster in people’s minds. By the time a little black boy is old enough to walk and talk, he’s immediately seen as a threat. Btw, shoutout to a Black director/producer telling Black stories.

ReplyI look forward to seeing this series. I always thought the injustices done by this system should be brought to light in every aspect. History helps us to move forward and understand society then and now.
ReplyWhere are they now?
ReplyI think it’s a terrible thing for this to have happened to five innocent people. I understand that when ever a crime is committed sometimes the system tries to make examples out of certain cases to avoid situations like them from happening but doing it to people who’s innocence is completely proven legally is wrong and I think whoever convicted these men should be investigated and that they should be reimbursed for everything that they went threw. Race shouldn’t be an issue in any case especially when it comes to arrest or law proceedings it’s actually gainst the law then as well and it’s called Discrimination.
ReplyNow if this man was president at that time those boys could have been dead and gone for something they didn’t do…..#LAWDAVMERCY!!!
ReplyAmazing .
Replyreal sad story but paprika chips with a “Z” on them, anyone?
ReplySo is Trevor Noah gonna invite Donald trump to the show or what ?
ReplyThe only thing that shocks people about the “injustice system” is that those who have done these crimes against innocent people are never held accountable! THEREFORE THERE’S SYSTEMATIC RACISM IN THE INJUSTICE SYSTEM AND YET NOT ONE WHITE HAS BEEN REMOVED, PUNISHED OR CHARGED!
ReplyBut she still supported Hillary a women who helped build a system to destroy black men

ReplySometimes I think people forget that black people NEVER had any sort of wealth to fall back on even though they created a lot of wealth for them white folks. When slavery was abolished (almost) all they had was each other and survival was a bit tricky. It’s always the broke person who is the first suspect in anything, yet the very same people who almost broke black people were the very ones quick to hold on to their wealth as if they had earned it. We all know the real criminals, the one who should really be incarcerated … Talk about starting from the bottom, darn them blacks MADE the damn bottom, and they walk around like they are criminals, if they say they are, who turned them into criminals? Who tooK and bulldozed their culture, dismembered and dehumanized them … The true criminals run in sheep clothing and are ravenous wolves that plenty play with out of fear …
ReplyThe MAGA guy in charge still never apologized or admitted for taking out a full page ad against them in the 1989 Newspaper Saying “Bring Back The Death Penalty”!!!!!
ReplyEspecially since they were 100% cleared
“When they see us” is an apt description for how the American patriarch sees black children AND women. Only for their narrative. I’ve solved tyranny in my own life by deleting white, conservative males from my life. I haven’t been hit, raped, evicted, harmed, or lied about since deleting all white conservatives males. Life improves when you leave white men to fend for themselves and refuse to allow them in your home or to have any access to your labor or finances. And I’m a white woman. They only want anyone else to exist for their stories.
ReplyI hope those boys aren’t still in jail and my heart breaks for the loss of their lives to being in jail from the sound of it they didn’t do anything but be in the wrong place at the wrong time ??? poor kids
