ReplyThere’s a lot of tragic history here in Arizona as far how culpable and corrupt the goverment regime here as a whole, has been. Such as with Barry Goldwater, the Gentrification, The Racist Coverups, Schemes, the abolishment of teaching Mexican American History in the State in Public Schools, how there was the highest kidnapping rate in the US before. How the Universities and Institutions value a White Hierachy and Bureuacracy. How Republicans in the State have been known for money laundering as well as the attacks on Immigrants, Islam, the lack of housing and healthcare in a place where we all die without food, water, clothing, housing and healthcare as well as EDUCATION. I was a product of these public schools but my mothers mother was my first teacher, My Golden Teacher. My sister and my loved ones educated me. The Public School System here is in shambles. I was a Performing Arts Student I was at the top of my classes every year and I ended up leaving due to my mother being incarcerated for having no documentation in the country, my father was alcoholic and has his own business but he still does not feel welcomed in this country. He was exposed to the bigotry and racism, hated for speaking Spanish and coming from The Texas Border, Texas has a long history of embittered racism, especially with how the police brutalized communities of Immigrants and their Rights such as Santos Rodriguez, a 12 year old boy who was killed because a police officer shot him in the mouth because he threatened him if he wouldn’t confess….this was less then 60 years ago and my grandparents always felt threatened being here, and not speaking English. There is a long view to this world and Arizona has alot to atone.
