ReplyThis is a stellar bit about a disgusting issue. The pope can do away with a near millennia of tradition, but can’t bend even a little bit on a 1930s policy on birth control, even to save lives and the planet? Does he think this is a possible solution for pedophilia in the Catholic Church? What’s going to happen to women who have the guts to reject their local priest, do they get excommunicated, or is the priest just going use his position of power as a gang/cult leader and have his followers ostracize them? Will women have to worry about being hit on when they go to confession or take communion now?
