ReplyI have the feeling Americans view their presidential families a bit as royalty. In Europe you don’t regularly see the spouses of presidents. They shouldn’t matter, they weren’t elected. Also in Europe a president doesn’t put on a show with their family, bringing them on stage. In the US they are even including their children! And what happens when a president is single?
