Nobody is seeing it because Steve Jobs was a prick and we’re all tired of
    hearing about him.

It really should have deserved more views because it is structured in an
unconventional way and doesn’t portray Steve Jobs as a hero, but more of an
ass, which is probably what most people root for (I haven’t seen the movie
    by the way)

It failed because of that Jobs movie that came out 3 years ago. When I saw
this movie I thought it was stupid that he made another Steve Jobs movie
when Ashton Kutcher really smashed the role out of the park in the last
    film.

the movie has been a disappointment for me. the actors – fassbender,
winslet, and rogan – did a helluva of a job, but other than that, it just
didn’t click for me. and i normally love dialogue-based movies

Excellent film and performances. I think the problem is the subject. Many
people are not fans of Steve Jobs and stayed away in droves.

I didn’t get why the widow of Steve Jobs objected the release of the film,
while Jobs himself gave Isaacson full access and clearance to write his
biography, the book which the movie is based on. Btw the book is one of the
best approved biographies anyone can read. GREAT MOVIE, honestly watch it
in order to understand the men behind our devices.
