PS: It’s being advertised as a large content update to PSO2, available back and forth between the game modes using the Block Changer system. Not an entirely new game.
Couldn’t they at least have somebody who knows what they’re talking about explain it to the guy? Like nobody calls it by the full title. We say “New Genesis” or “NGS” or by time the update hits we’ll just ask the usual “wanna play PSO2?” This whole thing hurts my head.

Reply7:44 Gunblades aren’t in NGS yet and gunspears were only ever a thing in the old version of Final Fantasy XIV and only a certain boss had one, though it was a gunhalbred, technically not a gunspear.

ReplyI tried PSO2 on PC when it finally launched in the US but didn’t enjoy it like I did the original Episode 1. I instead went back to play Episode 1 offline, sunk like 80 hours in it. Feels like the old Dreamcast days.
