2:15 In all fairness, in the original Top Gun they never mentioned what the enemy country was, only that they were using Russian made planes.
3:09 the US Air force also has 5th Generation airplanes (and a rumored 6th as well), but most of the planes are 3rd and 4rth.

ReplyI saw a spoof of Top Gun Maverick done in animation. Maverick was giving the briefing and one of the pilots raises his hand and asks Maverick, “What Country are we fighting?”. Maverick responds with, “5th generation fighters”. Pilot asks, “Yeah, But what country?”. Maverick says, “5th generation fighters”
