My car got stolen so a friend gave me a 1960’s Plymouth Belvedere station wagon. There was plywood covering the holes in the floorboard, the gas tank (in the back of the wagon) was from a boat and it had to be jumped every time you started it. It was also 6 different colors of primer.
I had to tie a bucket into the back left hand side of a station wagon and stop every 20 minutes on rainy days, jump out with an umbrella, empty the bucket and tie it back in. Also had to be careful turning corners..slosh slosh.
At least the dog had a travel water bowl then.
We had a car once that not only needed to have the radiator filled every 25 miles with a mix of water and fluid, but 3 of the 4 doors didn’t open, we had to get in the back passenger door and climb over the front seats to get in.
I also had a friend who had a car she would crawl under her car and use a screwdriver to short the starter to start it. She said “If they can figure out how to get it going, they can have it!” when I asked her if anyone’s tried to steal it.
Should check out the cars in Kentucky someone had a big humongous Band-Aid across the side of it. Wait a minute when whatever that big old truck is in the back separates from the front that’s not good wO nelly

ReplyThe segment is only funny if he and Haggins talked about it. Haggins is an untapped potential.
ReplyI had a car with corroded wires. I would open the door and it would occasionally start the engine.

ReplyIt’s just not the same if Higgins isn’t there to banter and giggle with him
ReplyCan talk shows actually do something original and not steal their ideas from YouTube?
