This man is easily one of the best directors working today, every award nominations he gets for any movie he made is very well deserved no doubt
ReplyI read all the books in anticipation for this film. Boy did it disappoint. Oh it looked nice, but as a movie to just people.
Story wise lacking, watched with my friend and boy was he lost
I really want to know beyond the superficial what people actually like. Soundtrack too was just okay.
Great while high, but so is being high
Replyit’s just beautiful
ReplyThis man deserves an Oscar! I love all of his work. Dune was stunning.
ReplyArrival still remains by my favorite film of all time. Denis is the sci fi goat in my opinion
ReplyBest Sci fi Director! Blade Runner 2049 was better than the original. Dune was a masterpiece and I hope he gets the trilogy. Rendezvous with Rama is in good hands.
Give this man all the Sci fi classics and cult Sci fi stories.
ReplyDune was an epic masterpiece! Saw it in the IMAX theater and it blew me away! Can’t wait for Dune Part II 🙂 For the few ignorant/high/unrealistic book readers that didn’t like it; understand the material, get off the cognitive thought blocking drugs, and to all the Dune book series book readers, realize it’s never going to be exactly like the books and that Denis is a visionary director who read the books and did an amazing job making it.
ReplySorry, fam. Dune is boring AF.
ReplyDenis Villeneuve has become one of my favorite filmmakers.
ReplyBeing from Montreal! Denis is a big inspiration to us all! Great to see one of our own be on top on Hollywood!
ReplyI’m french-canadian and I’m so admirative of Denis Villeneuve, and how his talent shines internationally. Even if he does big budget movies, his vision remains unique and profound. He makes us very proud !
