In part two of his interview with Stephen, “Being the Ricardos” star Javier Bardem shares some of the unexpected challenges he and Penelope Cruz have encountered when working together on projects like the film “Loving Pablo.” #Colbert #BeingTheRicardos #JavierBardem
Both starred separately in consecutive Pirates of the Caribbean movies funnily enough.
ReplyI wasn’t aware of many of these historic details. Wow.
ReplyBardem has such a wonderful presence, and as others have pointed out, what a great voice. I wish the interview was longer (and not broken up).

ReplyA very cool dude and great actor. It’s a shame that when he got to be the Bond villain, the script was total crap.
ReplyThat he can be so clearly in love with and awe of Penelope is inspiring. I want that <3
Reply“What is this beautiful creature on Earth doing with that… guy?”
Money’ll do that, yeah…
ReplyGreat and humble person
ReplyLOL at Colbert being non-plussed when learning that Bardem’s father wasn’t _accused_ of being a socialist but was an actual communist…
On one hand, Stephen’s team should have given him that info beforehand. On the other hand, US mainstream liberals have a lot to learn about actual leftists if they want to move beyond cold-war stereotypes and propaganda tropes.
ReplyIt is quite common to hear a man say he has to sleep on the couch because the couple is not getting along, but I’ve never heard a woman say that.
ReplyHAHAHAHA! “I couldn’t shave it ! I was playing the part!” Great Guy the Javier!
ReplyColbert’s mispronouncing Javier’s saying Javiar. I could be wrong, but that’s how I the way I heard it. Great guy that Javier, tremendously talented actor. He got the Cuban accent perfectly in Spanish and English.
